Flavors For Your Fondue Fountain

wedding chocolate fountainDo you like dips or any sauces to be added on your reception table? Then you will love Chocolate fountains. It’s not just a typical chocolate but this will give your guests a fantastic experience. This is just similar with the Cheese Fountain we all know. There are also many delicious sauces other than chocolate and cheese. Choose the toppings you want and you’ll see your guests will want more.

Do-It-Yourself

Do you own a chocolate fountain? If not, you can rent a fountain, but always make sure that the operator of the fountain will help you set up or else if there’s any problems or accidents occur you will be responsible for the damage and instead of just paying the rent, you’ll end up paying double expenses, so be careful.

Otherwise, if you have your own fountain, you can do anything you like besides you are the owner so of course you’ll know everything from the instructions on setting up and operating the fountain. Make sure you also have viscosity funnels to check the stickiness of the sauces before you run it to the fountain you’ll need to cascade it to the funnel and be sure that the liquid has been emaciated. If you did all of that then you are ready to display it to your reception table and your guests will love it.

Fruit Sauce

If you are a fruit lover then you can also use the fruit juices to be on your fountain. This is a good pair to be covered on a bread, on cookies and a lot more. Also you can use bits of fruits to a different fruit juices like you will dip the bits of pineapple to a mango sauce or strawberry sauce. Well, you’re probably thinking on how to make the best puree, if you are creative enough and want to learn it by trying to make one then that’s good, but if you don’t have time to learn how, you can actually buy directly to the fountain’s manufacturers. You can choose with different kinds of flavors such as cherry, mango, and other berry flavors.

If you are eager to try creating your own sauces for your fountain, by any flavor, you’ll need to simmer the fruit and sugar on a low heat until it dissolves. If you have a blender, just use it to make sure the fruit bits are well blend. Make sure you removed already the skin on the fruits before making fruit bits. If it’s still thick when trying it to the viscosity funnel, then you can add any liquid you like.

Caramel Sauce

How about caramel puree for your fountain? We all know that caramel is a thick sauce. To thin the caramel so that it will flow faster in the fountain, you can add butter or corn syrup. If you want to have a creamy caramel sauce, try adding vanilla extract or egg yolks. Usually, this is a good pair with cookies, marshmallows, and some sliced cakes. You can put all that on the dessert table and that guests can enjoy those finger foods. Caramel topping can also be found on any grocery stores, you can try to look on the pastry areas. This can be use as toppings on your sauce.

Mole Sauce

A lot like Chocolate fountain because it uses cocoa powder but this mole sauce has different mixed to thin the mixture, so you can add water, tomato soup, and other liquid that you prefer. This mole sauce is a great dip with slices of roasted chicken, steaks,  tofu and salads. If you love spicy foods, then mole sauce is a good choice because it has spicy ingredients like green chile pepper puree, tomato paste, cumin, powdered cilantro, garlic powder and many more.

Barbecue Sauce

This sauce is one of the most appetizing sauce since this can be served with some meat, baked tofu, chicken wings, burgers, meat balls and many more. You don’t even need to use your plate, you can use a clean stick.

To thin your barbecue sauce, you may add water, tomato soup, beer , or any flavorful sauce.

Cold Dressings

For all salad lovers, maybe you want cold dressings to be in your fondue fountain. There are many kinds of cold dressings you can use for your fountain. You can try honey mustard and other creamy salad dressings. If you will use the dressing straight from the bottle, make sure to add water or vegetable oil to make it thinner. Water or oil is not enough to make it thinner so be sure to strain the extra bits so that there will be no large pieces left. This could go along with blanched veggies such as celery, baby carrots, cauliflowers and other vegetables. Chicken Wings, Breads and other Barbecued meats can be offer too.

Cold Dressings is the most favored with salad lovers. Mostly vegetarians are the one who eat salads the most, so they are the one who are exposed to Cold Dressings. So in your reception table, you may display fondue fountain for vegetarians and another for guests who loves anything. Creamy dressing is one of the favorite dressings among guests.

Centerpieces you’ll love

An attractive centerpiece beside the fondue fountain will be wonderful. Make sure to use a round table for your fondue fountain so that guests can go each sides and you can use fantastic colored lights to make it more lovely and appetizing. Whatever topping you use for your fountain, putting colored lights on each corner can make the reception table lively.

The guests will surely enjoy their night with those finger foods and fondue fountain. Always be ready with lots of plates since these guests will crave more.
